Odds n' ends
She is soooooooo cute! Ginia and Jos play with the babies and work with the special needs kids. Many toddlers running around. They don't get as much attention. Sad. :(
Roses here are 2.50/ dozen! I had no idea that most of the roses sold in the US come from Ecuador.
Photo looking up the mountain in Banos. I have seen pictures of the "patchwork on the mountainside" but nothing can compare to actually seeing people farming the steep slopes.
Jos thought this was a guillotine when we first got here. LOL. Now she knows its to stop the water. My funny girl!
These signs are posted around town. The government puts these around to let people know how much they spend on projects. The one above was for a coverd area for the kids to do physical education. The one below was for the bridge going out to Casa de Fe.
Our new overlay for the road at Casa de Fe. It has been a couple weeks and much has washed away. That is their contribution to this home for children. The money to build buildings, feed children, educated them and care for them is individual donations and church support. Thank God for those who see a need and fill a need!
